It has been confirmed!
The first case of black death ( Plague) has been diagnosed in New Mexico, United States. A young teenager from the state has the first confirmed case of the Black Plague in 2016. Doctors responsible for the young lad say that he is recovering from this evil killer.
New Mexico’s Health Secretary-designate Lynn Gallagher said
“We will conduct an environmental investigation at the teen’s home to look for ongoing risk and to ensure the health of the immediate family and neighbors.”
“Plague is generally transmitted to humans through the bites of infected fleas, according to the department’s release, but also can be transmitted through direct contact with infected animals, including rodents, wildlife and pets. In rare cases, if the disease has infected a person’s lungs, the person can transmit it to another person. ” santafenewmexican
This case is scary as the Black Death was the most devastating pandemics in human history and especially in the history europe and middle east. Makes you question if it is back to the US then the possibility of its being back to the UK is big in 2016 as in 2014-2015 there were 10 suspected cases in the United Kingdom.
We need to make sure that London has the best PEST control services to keep this plague in the history books and not on our morning news.
